Job summary

Trinity Health's Samaritan Hospital is seeking a part-time Environmental Services team member for the night shift to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff. The role emphasizes thorough cleaning, infection control, and collaboration across departments.

You must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds; experience in dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds.
• Basic knowledge of dusting, vacuuming, mopping and sanitizing.

Responsibilities

• Thorough room cleaning following training policies; cleaning daily or as assigned in a timely manner.
• Comply with infection control policies and procedures.
• Maintain good working relationships and communicate with other departments, residents, families and staff; respond politely to requests.
• Communicate to Housekeeping Supervisor any problems encountered during daily routine.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Housekeeping Supervisor or Director.
