Job summary

Actalent in Waukesha, WI seeks an Engineering Technician for a 3rd shift (Sun–Thu, 11pm–7:30am). The role keeps tests running to prevent downtime before 1st shift, and involves setting up equipment and testing prototypes, existing products, and competitors across mechanical, electrical and environmental functions.

You will interpret data with basic instruments, assist in assembling test gear, and follow established lab procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must provide basic personal hand tools.
• Ability to read and follow procedures and work instructions.
• Willing to learn new equipment and processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing on current and new product designs under supervision.
• Set up test equipment and products in the correct sequence per procedures.
• Test prototypes, existing, and competitor products across mechanical, electrical, environmental and electromechanical functions.
• Interpret, record and document measurement data accurately.
• Assist with assembly and fabrication of test equipment and prototypes per blueprints.
