Job summary

Catalent is seeking an Encapsulation Operator for a 12-hour night shift at our St. Petersburg, FL facility. This on-site role supports high-volume softgel production, following batch records and GMP standards.

You will gain hands-on experience with multiple encapsulation technologies and collaborate with the Product Development team. The role requires GMP experience, physical stamina for a 12-hour shift, and the ability to work in a high-noise, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous manufacturing experience in a GMP-regulated industry preferred.
• Able to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 30 lbs regularly during a 12-hour shift.
• Must pass Ishihara Color Vision Screening and achieve 20/30 visual acuity.
• Primary workstation is a high-noise manufacturing area with exposure to chemicals and potent compounds.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains encapsulation machines.
• Follows batch records and cGMP standards; completes documentation.
• Troubleshoots equipment to minimize downtime and ensure quality.
• Coordinates with mechanics during machine changeovers and setup.
• Monitors material usage and replenishes supplies as needed.
• Maintains clean work area and performs in-process quality checks.
• Handles and stores materials per safety protocols.
• Other duties as assigned.
