Northeast Fire-Rescue in Connecticut is seeking an EMT (Security Responder) to provide high-quality EMS care while maintaining a secure environment. You will collaborate with fire, medical, and security teams to respond effectively to emergencies and uphold safety standards on site.

Responsibilities include responding to calls, treating patients, transporting to facilities, documenting incidents, and enforcing safety protocols to protect personnel and the community.

Qualifications

• Valid CT EMT-Basic certification required.
• Valid CPR certification required.
• FEMA 100, 200, 700, 800 certifications welcomed.
• Ability to work in high-pressure situations and pass background checks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Respond to emergency calls and provide medical treatment.
• Assess patient conditions and determine the action plan.
• Transport patients to medical facilities for further treatment.
• Maintain a secure environment on premises and respond to security incidents.
