Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System at St. Anthony's Hospital in Effingham, IL seeks a part-time Nursing Support teammate for the Emergency Department, nights, 24 hours per week.

You will provide patient care under RN supervision, greet and assist patients, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, BLS within 30 days of hire, and preferred EMT or CNA certification with 1 year healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year healthcare experience preferred.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Greets, assists, and directs patients and visitors and monitors activity to establish a friendly caring environment.
• Provides care for patients according to the standards of care specific to age and the individual’s needs.
• May collect blood samples and process specimens.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and well-equipped environment.
