Job summary

AdventHealth in Orange City, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for a part-time night shift. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and adjust individualized care plans, administer medications, educate families, coordinate with the care team, and maintain detailed medical records.

Requirements include Florida RN licensure and BLS certification; opportunities for professional development and advancement through our Clinical Ladder program and ongoing education are available.

Qualifications

• RN license in Florida (Required)
• BLS certification (Required)
• Experience in acute care settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans; revise as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per orders and protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and outcomes in the medical record.
• Respond to code situations promptly and provide necessary interventions.
