Job summary

HealthPartners RHSC/Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN seeks a dedicated Physician Assistant for a night-shift position in our Emergency Department, including care in a psychiatric unit and triage. The PA will diagnose, treat, and coordinate care with ED physicians and the crisis team.

New graduates are not being considered; Emergency Medicine experience and psychiatric experience are highly valued. 0.8 FTE with a premium for night hours; benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Completion of a physician assistant program accredited by ARC-PA.
• NCCPA certification and Minnesota license; ability to obtain Wisconsin licensure.
• ACLS/BLS/ATLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies and perform procedures within scope.
• Collaborate with ED physicians, crisis staff, nursing, and the care team; participate in night shift duties.
