Job summary

CoxHealth in Springfield, MO is seeking an Emergency Department nurse to provide bedside care during the night shift. This role delivers triage, rapid assessment, stabilization, and coordination of care for patients across all ages in a busy ED.

The ideal candidate is an experienced RN licensed in Missouri with BLS and ACLS/PALS/ENPC/TNCC certifications in progress or completed within specified timelines; a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license active in Missouri
• BLS within 90 days of hire
• ACLS within 1 year of hire
• PALS within 1 year of hire
• ENPC within 12 months of hire
• TNCC within 12 months of hire
• ENPC must be Primary RN for emergent pediatric care

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care during initial phase of acute illness or trauma for all ages
• Triages and determines priority of care based on needs
• Stabilizes patient, initiates treatment, and coordinates discharge or longer stay
