Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires EMT/Paramedic/MA/CNA certifications and BLS certification.
• Six months patient care experience or completion of US Armed Services medic program.
• ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect patient care, assisting nursing and physician staff with procedures.
• Inventories and restocks emergency department equipment.
• Collects and transports specimens (urine, blood, cultures).
• Assists with admission/discharge, IVs, and room preparation between patients.
• Places patients on monitors, provides wound care, assists with procedures, and documents observations.
