Endeavor Health's Arlington Heights ED is seeking an Emergency Services Care Assistant/Unit Secretary for the overnight shift (7pm–7:30am) with every other weekend. Per diem position in Arlington Heights, IL, offering pay range $19.71–$28.58 hourly, dependent on experience.

Roles include direct patient care under RN supervision and clerical/stocking tasks as needed. Required include HS diploma and CPR; CNA/EMT/Paramedic or ED tech experience preferred.

Formación

• Education: the level of knowledge normally obtained through the completion of four years of high school
• Certification: CNA, Paramedic, nursing student with six months of clinical, EMT with at least one year field experience (waived for NCH employees), ED Technicians with two years current experience

Responsabilidades

• Reporting to the ED Manager, assists and supports the Emergency Department and Treatment Center Nursing and Medical staff in patient care delivery
• Under RN supervision, provides direct patient care; performs technical and medical procedures not governed by licensure
• Assist in directing unit environmental aide to ensure supply availability or perform clerical, stocking, and cleaning functions
