Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking an Emergency Services Care Assistant/Unit Secretary for the Emergency Department. This per diem night position runs 7pm–7am, with every other weekend, supporting ED and Treatment Center staff to deliver patient care.

Under RN supervision, you will perform direct patient care and assist with various procedures not restricted by licensure, while also handling clerical and stocking duties as needed for smooth unit operations.

Formación

• Education: high school level knowledge.
• Certifications: CNA, Paramedic, Nursing student with six months of clinical, EMT with at least one year field experience (waived for NCH employees in care area), ED Technicians with two years current in a similar institution.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsabilidades

• Reports to the ED Manager and supports ED and Treatment Center Nursing and Medical staff in patient care.
• Under RN supervision, provides direct patient care and performs non-licensure governed medical procedures.
• May assist in directing environment staff and performing clerical, stocking, and cleaning tasks as required.
