Job summary

Sandvik Coromant Westminster in Westminster, SC seeks an Electro-Mechanical Technician to maintain and improve production reliability. You will work with PLCs, vision systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and precision mechanical components to support cutting-edge manufacturing operations.

The role requires solving complex equipment issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and collaborating with internal teams to minimize downtime. A 3rd shift (11:00 PM–7:15 AM) is offered with a shift premium.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronic Technology or related field.
• Minimum of three years electro-mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair plant equipment to ensure reliability.
• Perform preventive maintenance per established schedules.
• Identify and resolve issues with PLCs, vision systems, and control systems.
• Read technical drawings, layouts, manuals, and sketches.
• Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum, and ventilation systems.
• Complete all Work Order System clerical tasks accurately.
• Perform millwright duties including equipment movement and installation.
• Conduct pipe fitting and plumbing for various systems.
• Operate trucks, man lifts, forklifts, and other powered vehicles safely.
