Job summary

Sandvik Coromant in Westminster, SC is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to keep production lines running reliably and efficiently.

The successful candidate will diagnose, repair, and maintain plant equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and work with PLCs, vision systems, hydraulics and pneumatics in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role offers a shift-based schedule (3rd shift 11:00 PM–7:15 AM) with a shift differential and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronic Technology or related field.
• Minimum of three years electro-mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair plant equipment and processes to ensure optimal performance.
• Execute preventive maintenance operations according to schedules and specifications.
• Identify and resolve issues with PLCs, vision systems, and complex control systems.
• Interpret and work from technical drawings, layouts, instruction manuals, sketches, and verbal instructions.
• Maintain and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum, and ventilation systems.
• Complete clerical tasks in Work Order System.
• Perform millwright duties including equipment moving and installation.
• Conduct pipe fitting and plumbing for high- and low-pressure systems.
• Safely operate trucks, lifts, forklifts, and other vehicles with documentation.
• Communicate effectively with internal customers and provide timely status updates.
