Job summary

Sandvik Coromant in Westminster, SC seeks a Machine Grind Operator II to set up and operate robotized grinding systems, develop basic CNC programs, and ensure products meet blueprints and quality standards. You will monitor SPC results, calibrate robots, and uphold safety and efficiency in a team-based environment.

The role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to continuous improvement, with shift timings on the 4th/weekend schedule and onsite work in Westminster,

Qualifications

Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, specifications and work instructions.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate robotized top and bottom grinding, ER, and ELB equipment according to work instructions.
Develop and modify basic CNC programs to support production requirements.
Adjust machine parameters and perform required robot calibrations.
Verify process capability using Statistical Process Control (SPC) and other control methods.
Perform visual inspections to ensure conformance to specifications and quality standards.
Monitor equipment performance to achieve defined efficiency targets.
