Job summary

The Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 role at Dematic focuses on day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance on material handling equipment at the Chanel site. Night shift, with overtime and occasional weekend work may be required.

Mon-Thu 2:30 pm – 11 pm; Fri 12:30 pm – 9 pm; some weekends as needed to meet onsite operational needs. Base pay range is $28 to $32 per hour; final compensation depends on location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long hours.
• Flexibility to cover multiple shifts and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, component lubrication.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
• Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry.
• Create and close work orders into asset management system with labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
• Troubleshoot semi-complex problems and determine resources needed.
• Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
• Perform routine maintenance and equipment testing to meet specifications.
• Respond to service calls and correct equipment failures and faults.
• Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to solve them.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all organizational levels.
