Job summary

Dematic in Ocala, FL is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 2 to handle day-to-day troubleshooting and preventive/predictive maintenance on Material Handling Equipment at the Ocala location.

Shift Sunday–Tuesday 6:00 pm–6:30 am and every other Wednesday; overtime and occasional weekend work may be required. Base pay range is $26–$30 per hour with final compensation determined by location, experience, and skills.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational-technical training preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work varied shifts and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belt tracking and component adjustments.
• Perform preventive maintenance routines and document procedures.
• Create/close work orders with labor hours and parts used in the asset system.
• Troubleshoot basic conveyance problems and resolve faults.
• Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
• Respond to service calls and maintain positive cross‑functional relationships.
