Job summary

Owens Corning in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking an Electro Mechanical Technician to perform mechanical and electrical maintenance across pipe fitting, welding, hydraulics, instrumentation, and sheet metal. You will troubleshoot, repair, and optimize plant systems while ensuring safety and reliability.

The role requires shift work (11 PM–7 AM) with overtime as needed, a High School diploma or GED, and ability to obtain US work authorization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalency.
• Ability to pass maintenance skill test.
• Must provide valid authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical troubleshooting and repairs including pipe fitting, welding, machining, hydraulics, pneumatics, and sheet metal.
• Electrical and controls troubleshooting including instrumentation, motors, VFDs, PLCs, HMIs.
• Special projects and equipment improvements.
• Participation in safety programs, TPM teams, and PM optimization.
• Comply with plant rules and corporate policies on business conduct.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Regular attendance on site and ability to rotate varying shifts.
• All other duties as assigned or needed.
