Job summary

Nestlé is seeking an Electro Mechanical Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve production equipment in a manufacturing setting. This multi-skilled role emphasizes proactive maintenance to maximize uptime and support plant performance across safety, quality, cost, and service goals.

The position offers an hourly wage of $36.94, plus a $1.80/hour night shift premium and a quarterly bonus structure. Schedule features 3-day weekends with a 12-hour 2/2/3 shift plan and onboarding training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Food or beverage manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work off-shifts, weekends, and extended shifts.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform proactive, preventive, and condition-based maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic PLC systems.
• Support production during changes, startups, and adjustments.
• Maintain and service packaging systems including conveyors and labelers.
• Follow FDA regulations and Nestlé QMS requirements.
• Enter and close work orders in the CMMS.
• Analyze equipment data to identify improvements.
• Support continuous improvement and NCE initiatives.
• Train operators on equipment and autonomous maintenance.
