Job summary

ams OSRAM is seeking an Electrical Technician responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in a manufacturing environment. You will troubleshoot using meters, schematics, and manuals, ensuring safety standards and codes are met.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, coordinating with engineering, and supporting equipment upgrades. A high school diploma and technical training are required, with experience in industrial settings preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical certificate or trade school preferred.
• Experience with electrical maintenance in industrial settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose faults using test equipment, schematics, and manuals.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facilities.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and control wiring diagrams.
• Support installations, upgrades, and commissioning activities.
• Maintain and repair motor controls, relays, VFDs, and PLC interfaces.
