Job summary

Ams Osram's Automotive Solutions & Lamps division in Hillsboro, NH is seeking an Electrical Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in a high-speed manufacturing setting. You will support production and maintenance while ensuring safety and compliance with electrical codes.

The role requires reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics; performing preventive and corrective maintenance; and collaborating with engineering, maintenance, and safety teams

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical certificate or associate degree in electrical technology preferred.
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or facilities electrical maintenance.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with NFPA wiring standards and electrical safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose faults using test equipment and documentation.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facilities.
• Read electrical drawings, ladder logic, and manuals.
• Support installations, upgrades, modifications, and commissioning.
• Ensure work complies with safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Document maintenance activities and parts used.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, production, and safety teams.
• Maintain organized tools and work areas.
