Job summary
Tyson Foods in Omaha, NE is seeking a Maintenance Electrical Technician for 3rd shift, 11pm–7:30am. You will perform advanced troubleshooting and repair for machinery and systems, and assist engineering and plant personnel with designing, installing, and modifying integrated systems to support food safety and quality.
The role requires 4+ years of electrical and/or industrial maintenance experience, PLC and SAP Maintenance proficiency, and strong safety awareness.
Qualifications
- 4+ years electrical and/or industrial maintenance experience.
- Experience with PLC systems and microprocessors.
- Experience with electrical safety and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Proficient in SAP Maintenance and Windows-based software.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery and systems across plant operations.
- Assist engineering and plant personnel in specifying, installing, and altering integrated systems.
- Ensure food safety, quality and regulatory compliance in all maintenance activities.
- Maintain and document parts inventory for critical components.
