Tyson Foods in Omaha, NE is seeking a Maintenance Electrical Technician for 3rd shift, 11pm–7:30am. You will perform advanced troubleshooting and repair for machinery and systems, and assist engineering and plant personnel with designing, installing, and modifying integrated systems to support food safety and quality.
The role requires 4+ years of electrical and/or industrial maintenance experience, PLC and SAP Maintenance proficiency, and strong safety awareness.
Summary: The Maintenance Electrical Technician is tasked with conducting advanced troubleshooting and repair for machinery and systems, aiding engineering and plant personnel in specifying, installing, and altering integrated systems, and offering technical assistance across all operation stages. This role holds accountability for ensuring food safety, quality, and compliance. Proficiency in various skill sets is essential, encompassing expertise in electrical controls, fluid power, mechanical systems, and manufacturing processes.
Hours: 11pm-7:30am, 2 consecutive days off, must be willing to work weekends and overtime when needed.
Pay: $39.75/hr
Travel: Minimum of 1-5 trips per year
