Job summary

Specialty Granules LLC (SGI) in Ione, CA seeks an Electrical & Controls Technician to install, maintain and repair plant electrical equipment, panels, motors and controls. You will work the 7pm–7am shift, with opportunities for cross training, advancement, and a safe, team‑oriented atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Install, maintain and repair electrical equipment throughout the plant and offices.
• Diagnose and correct trouble in electrical units and controls.
• Ensure quality of work and safe operation of tools and equipment.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety in the work area.

Responsibilities

• Repair, rebuild, install and demolish plant electrical equipment and machinery as directed.
• Diagnose and fix electrical problems in units and controls.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.
• Keep the work area clean and safe; perform other duties as assigned.
