Specialty Granules LLC (SGI) in Ione, CA seeks an Electrical & Controls Technician to install, maintain and repair plant electrical equipment, panels, motors and controls. You will work the 7pm–7am shift, with opportunities for cross training, advancement, and a safe, team‑oriented atmosphere.

Job Description Specialty Granules LLC is now hiring an Electrical & Controls Technician at the Ione, CA Plant. Pay & Shift

Pay Rate: $46.54/hr. Shift: 7pm-7am.

Essential Function

Install, maintain and repair a wide variety of electrical equipment throughout the plant and offices.

Core Competencies

• May perform basic mathematical operations and statistical charting or other record keeping
• Ability to work from service manuals, blueprints, sketches and verbal instructions
• Ability to work well with other employees
• Must possess ability with hand/power tools and test apparatus in connection with electrical equipment installation/repair

Job Responsibilities

• As directed, performs activities associated with repair, rebuilding, installation and demolition of the plant’s electrical equipment and machinery, including motors, panels, generating equipment, lighting circuits, communication systems, etc.
• Diagnose and correct trouble in electrical units and controls
• Responsible for quality of work and the safe operation of all tools and equipment under his/her control
• Responsible for good housekeeping and safety inspection of work area
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned

Salary Details

Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant candidate experience and skill, education, and/or qualifications.

Base Hourly Rate: $46.54
