Job summary

The Hiring Group is seeking an Electrical/Automation Engineer to support maintenance teams at a large manufacturing facility in Woodburn, Indiana. The role focuses on training maintenance electricians, troubleshooting, and improving machine reliability on a night shift with alternating weekends.

Initial 1-year LTC with potential for day-shift full-time and possible contract-to-hire after 6 months. Remote work not offered. Salary ranges from $120K to $130K per year, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• 2-4 years of current engineering experience in an industrial manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLC programming standards and programming software incl. GRAFCET, Ladder Logic, and Structured Text.
• Experience with VFDs and motion control technologies.

Responsibilities

• Implement the direction of maintenance leadership on shift.
• Provide troubleshooting support to on-shift maintenance craftspeople and production supervision.
• Interface with internal support groups to accomplish objectives and provide contract engineering management when needed.
