Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• EMT-B with state or national certification at time of hire or military hospital corps school qualification or clinical program student with at least one completed semester.
• Prior Sentara ED Tech experience considered in lieu of the above criteria.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians, advanced practitioners, or nurses in implementing care plans for emergency patients.
• Perform procedures and treatments under supervision.
• Complete de-escalation training within 15 days of hire and obtain BLS within 90 days of hire.
