Qualifications

• Preferred EMT, CNA, MA, Paramedic training; nursing student experience acceptable.
• Current AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required.

Responsibilities

• Recognizes, reports, and records observations and care.
• Functions as an unlicensed assistive care provider under RN supervision.
• Performs tasks in which competency has been demonstrated as delegated by the RN.
• Provides patient hygiene and transports patients.
• Maintains a safe, clean unit and supports regulatory requirements.
