Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an Emergency Department Technician for the Emergency Department at Baptist Clay in Fleming Island, FL. This is a full-time, night shift opportunity.

Assists Registered Nurses with patient care and daily healthcare needs, including ADLs, safe environment, lab specimen collection, intake/output monitoring, and EMR documentation. Position works under RN supervision to ensure quality patient care and efficient ED operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• BLS required.
• Licensed EMT or CNA required.
• Hospital experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist Registered Nurses in patient care and daily healthcare needs.
• Support activities of daily living and maintain a safe patient environment.
• Collect lab specimens and monitor intake/output.
• Document in the electronic medical record under RN supervision.
• Assist in ensuring efficient ED operations.
