Job summary

At Baptist Clay ED in Fleming Island, FL, Baptist Health is seeking an Emergency Department Technician for a full-time, day shift role. The position supports the ED team by delivering hands-on patient care and helping ensure efficient department operations.

The successful candidate will assist RNs with patient care, maintain a safe environment, collect lab specimens, monitor intake and output, and document in the electronic medical record under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Required
• Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed EMT or CNA Required

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs in the Emergency Department with patient care and daily needs.
• Maintain a safe patient environment.
• Collect lab specimens.
• Monitor intake and output.
• Document in the electronic medical record under RN supervision.
