Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ED Transitional Care Unit in Valley Park, Missouri. Join a Level I Trauma Center environment delivering critical nursing care on twelve‑hour night shifts, with a $15,000 sign‑on bonus eligibility.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team to manage boarding patients with diverse medical conditions, focusing on safety, education, and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in good standing.
• Educational requirements include nursing diploma or higher.
• Prefer bachelor's degree in nursing.
• Experience level not required; RN with strong clinical foundation welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a busy ED/Transitional Care Unit setting.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, pharmacists, and nursing staff.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for diverse and complex patients.
• Educate patients and families on post‑treatment home care and meds.
• Uphold safety and regulatory standards; participate in quality initiatives.
