Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital, part of BJC HealthCare, is seeking a licensed RN for the Emergency Department at Washington University Medical Center in Missouri. This role involves night shifts (three 12-hour shifts) with night differentials of $5/hr on weekdays and $8/hr on weekends.

The ED is the largest in Missouri, offering fast-paced, high-collaboration care. Responsibilities include direct patient care, assessment, planning and evaluation, with emphasis on safety and interprofessional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree required.
• RN licensure required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Promotes patient- and family-centered care and educates on illness/injury management.
• Participates in patient safety, quality and regulatory activities.
• Develops and documents individualized plans of care with interprofessional teams.
