Job summary

The Colony ER in Texas is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This PRN night-shift position supports acute patient care, including rapid assessments, triage, and collaboration with the ED team.

The RN will provide age-spanning emergency care, administer medications, uphold infection control, and participate in ongoing training and quality initiatives. English fluency and current state licensure are required to ensure safe, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Two years ER experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN licensure in the applicable state.
• BCLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS or ENPC; TNCC preferred.
• English literacy for communication with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Perform head-to-toe assessments and triage based on urgency.
• Provide emergency care for all ages per protocols.
• Administer medications with the five rights accuracy.
• Supervise ER Technicians and coordinate with physicians.
• Maintain infection control and participate in quality initiatives.
