Physicians Premier Emergency Room in Corpus Christi, TX seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts. The role involves triage, direct patient care, and collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams in a freestanding emergency setting.

The candidate must hold a Texas RN license with ER experience and certifications in CPR/BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS. Prior supervision is not required; strong documentation and patient safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Two years ER nursing experience.
• Current Texas RN license (or multi-state compact RN with Texas privileges).
• CPR/BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and triage based on medical complaints or symptoms.
• Assist physicians during exams, procedures, diagnostic tests and treatments.
• Perform IV initiation/infusion/therapy, blood draws, cardiac monitoring, and basic bedside care.
• Administer medications as ordered and document administration.
• Conduct discharge teaching and verify vital signs prior to discharge.
• Maintain documentation, equipment readiness and adherence to policies.
