Job summary

Intuitive Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to support Emergency & Urgent Care during night shifts on a part-time, PRN basis. You will provide comprehensive nursing assessment, triage, and care coordination for acutely ill or injured patients in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate holds an active Texas RN license, BLS (ACLS/PALS preferred), and 2+ years in an Emergency Department. Expect collaborative teamwork, adherence to policies, and ongoing professional development within

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas (or compact license with the State of Texas).
• Current certification in BLS.
• Current ACLS and PALS are required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are required.
• At least 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department Setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient-focused nursing care of the acutely ill or injured patient.
• Ensures patient care is holistic, compassionate, and meets clinical and spiritual/emotional needs.
• Triages and prioritizes patient care based on acuity level and available resources.
• Works collaboratively with other disciplines to provide well-coordinated patient care.
• Promotes positive relationships and delegates tasks within scope of practice and licensure.
• Adheres to policies and procedures per Texas Board of Nursing and CLIA guidelines.
• Provides basic respiratory services including capnography, pulse oximetry, oxygen, and nebulized treatments.
• Uses critical thinking and works with minimal supervision.
• Maintains composure during stress and emergencies.
• Facilitates patient transfer and discharge.
• Contributes to departmental policies and procedures aligning with current standards of care.
• Attends unit meetings and disseminates information as needed.
• Participates in staff assessments and training.
• Executes other duties as assigned.
