Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Night shift Emergency Department position in Johnson County, KS. Requires at least 1 year of recent ED experience and KS or Compact RN licensure, with certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and Conscious Sedation.

Responsibilities include 12-hour night shifts (19:00-07:30), 3 shifts per week, and caring for inpatient boarders with patient ratios around 3:1 (4:1 as needed).

Qualifications

• Active KS license or Multi-State Compact RN license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and Conscious Sedation competencies required.
• TNCC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 29-bed ED serving southern Johnson County.
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 19:00–07:30, three shifts per week.
• Manage patient load with 3:1 (4:1 when needed) ratios; no floating off unit.
