Job summary

Progeny HR Solutions LLC is seeking a highly qualified Registered Nurse Manager to lead the Emergency Department during night shifts at a Kansas City, MO facility. You will oversee operations, ensure quality patient care, and create a positive work environment for staff.

Requirements include MO RN licensure, a BSN with a Master’s preferred, 3–5 years in emergency nursing and at least 2 years in leadership, plus BLS/ACLS/PALS and EMR proficiency. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in Missouri.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Master's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of emergency nursing experience with at least 2 years in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of emergency nursing principles, practices and procedures.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records and healthcare software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Emergency Department on night shifts.
• Develop and implement policies to ensure regulatory compliance and best practices.
• Monitor and evaluate nursing staff performance and provide mentorship.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Manage staffing and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage.
• Lead staff meetings and provide ongoing education and training.
• Maintain documentation of patient care and department activities.
• Participate in budgeting and monitor department expenses.
• Address patient and family complaints in a timely, professional manner.
• Stay current with emergency nursing advancements and implement new practices.
