Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
• Current Iowa RN license is required.
• Two years of relevant clinical nursing experience.
• BLS certification within three months of hire.
• Supervisory or nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Specialty practice certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support nursing colleagues in a positive, collaborative environment.
• Oversee day-to-day department operations including staffing, hiring, training, performance, and resource management.
• Coach, mentor, and develop colleagues; support professional growth and succession planning.
• Champion exceptional, patient-centered care and evidence-based nursing practices.
• Monitor quality, safety, and financial outcomes; identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead teams through change; encourage innovation and continuous learning.
