Job summary

Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN is seeking exceptional ED Coordinators to join our Emergency Department team and provide patient-focused support in a fast-paced hospital setting.

As first-line contacts with patients and families, ED Coordinators enter care data, order tests, process charts, and assist physicians and nurses with all aspects of patient care while prioritizing tasks to ensure timely, safe, and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Required: office procedures and equipment experience.
• Required: computer experience and capable with multi-tasking while providing personal interactions.
• Required: customer service experience including problem solving and balancing needs of guests, patients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient care data and order tests as directed.
• Chart processing and admitting patients as needed.
• Screen and answer phone calls and handle other assigned tasks.
• Coordinate patient flow and assist physicians and nurses with patient care.
• Prioritize tasks quickly and accurately in a busy ED environment.
