Heart Havens Inc. seeks a caring Direct Support Professional to empower adults with developmental disabilities to live full, vibrant lives. The DSP role focuses on overnight shifts, assisting with daily living activities, meal prep, medications, and community engagement within a supportive team environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with 6 months of direct support experience. Weekend overnight availability is essential, and adherence to Heart Havens policies ensures

Formación

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months’ direct support experience required.
• 1 year direct support experience in a DD residential setting preferred or equivalent with consistent history.

Responsabilidades

• Provide support to residents as outlined in ISPs and plans.
• Supervise residents and ensure safety in home and community.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living and meals.
• Administer medications per procedures and rights of medication administration.
• Document daily notes, medications, and incidents accurately.
• Maintain confidentiality and health information.
• Notify leadership of incidents and medical updates.
• Attend monthly resident meetings and follow activity calendars.
