Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a dynamic Manager, Distribution (Night Shift) in Lebanon, IN. You will supervise Warehouse Associates and Team Leads in a fast-paced distribution environment, ensuring safe, efficient operations and adherence to Lean practices.

The role requires leadership experience, CPS familiarity, and the ability to optimize processes, schedules, and cost controls across the value stream in our Product Support & Logistics Division.

Responsibilities

• Set priorities for daily workload and value stream.
• Determine overtime needs and resource priorities; enforce discipline when needed.
• Manage employee hours using timekeeping systems.
• Ensure production meets safety, quality, velocity, and cost standards.
• Order and distribute parts and materials in a timely manner.
• Recommend improvements to working conditions and equipment to boost efficiency.
• Drive process improvements and reduce non-value added activities.
