Job summary

SpaceX’s Hawthorne Distribution Center is seeking a Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead materials management, receiving, and distribution for rocket production programs. This role focuses on coaching staff, enforcing safety, and driving continuous improvement across the warehouse operations.

The supervisor will coordinate with Shipping, Receiving, Quality Control, and Planning teams to meet tight schedules, maintain stocking levels, and optimize kitting and inventory strategies in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of professional experience in materials management, supply chain, or production/manufacturing; or 6+ years of professional experience in materials management, supply chain, or production/manufacturing.
• Experience in materials management, supply chain, or production/manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Approve timecards, scheduling, and staff development.
• Mentor direct reports and provide training.
• Implement best logistics and inventory practices according to procedures.
• Support and maintain metric goals for Inventory teams.
• Conduct safety walkthroughs and promote safety policies.
• Coordinate with Shipping, Receiving, Quality Control, Transportation, Planning, Purchasing and others.
• Ensure audits and compliance events are handled.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and drive continuous improvements.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and accommodate campaign timelines.
