Job summary

AHRC Nassau Seaford is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join the Community Living Services program, working Wed–Sat 11p–9a for 30 hours per week. You will provide ongoing support to residents, helping with self-care, health, safety, housekeeping, socialization, and overall well‑being, while promoting the agency’s mission.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have NYS driver’s license and maintain qualified driver status.
• Ability to communicate and understand written and oral directives/information.

Responsibilities

• Promote the agency’s mission and guiding principles in every interaction.
• Provide ongoing support to residents in the Community Living Services program to maintain a high quality of life.
• Assist with self-care routines, health, safety, household chores, socialization and overall well-being.
