Job summary

AHRC Nassau is seeking staff to support individuals in the Community Living Services program. The role runs Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week, with compensation starting at $14.00 per hour and higher based on education and experience.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid NYS driver’s license. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow written and oral directives are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must submit a valid NYS driver's license and maintain qualified driver status.

Responsibilities

• Practice and promote the agency’s mission and guiding principles in every interaction.
• Provide ongoing support to people in the Community Living Services program to ensure a high quality of life.
• Help with self-care, health, safety, household chores, socialization, and overall well-being.
