Job summary

AHRC Nassau in Wantagh is seeking a Direct Support Professional to support residents in the Community Living Services program. The position is 32 hours weekly, with pay starting at $14.00 per hour and increasing with experience.

You will aid with self-care, health, safety, chores, social activities and overall well-being, while promoting the agency’s mission in every interaction. A high school diploma and a NYS driver's license are preferred/required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must hold NYS driver’s license and maintain qualified driver status throughout employment.
• Ability to communicate and understand written and oral directives/information.
