Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Fort Worth seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance on fleet diesel equipment, including tractors, trailers and refrigeration units, with minimal supervision. You will document work orders, ensure roadworthiness, and carry out road call services as needed.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and proficiency with computerized diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair experience, including PMs, tires, brakes, diagnosis, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience with A/C refrigeration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet diesel equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units) and identify root causes of failures.
• Ensure equipment has required licensing and roadworthiness.
• Document repairs and PMs in the work order system and support road call services.
