Job summary
US Foods in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Diesel Mechanic to keep our fleet safe and reliable. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild and repair diesel tractors, trailers, and related equipment, with a focus on preventative maintenance within DOT standards.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy-duty diesel mechanic.
- Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for equipment repairs.
- Experience applying preventive maintenance programs.
- Must furnish own personal hand tools.
- Must have a valid driver's license and Class-A CDL (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Independently troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, and repair diesel equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance per DOT standards.
- Receive road calls, coordinate with third-party vendors and partners.
- Document repairs and parts used using fleet software.
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment.
