The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is hiring a Night Shift Automotive Fleet/Diesel Technician in Cicero, NY. You will service delivery vans and DOT vehicles, perform diagnostics, oil changes, tire work, and preventive maintenance, with a focus on fleet service at client sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Diesel Technician performing diagnostics, repairs, preventive maintenance and inspections on diesel vehicles/equipment.
• Must possess a valid State Inspector Certification.
• Experience with DOT-regulated inspections, brake systems and preventative maintenance.
• DOT Brake Certification required or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Servicing delivery vans and DOT vehicles for scheduled preventive maintenance at client sites.
• Perform line technician services: oil changes, tire services, inspections, diagnostics, brake repairs, fluid exchanges and tire installation.
• Conduct advanced repairs and state inspections.
• Training may occur in a customer retail environment before working on client sites.
