Job summary

Goodyear is seeking an Automotive / Fleet Technician for the night shift in Buffalo, NY. You will service delivery vans and DOT vehicles for scheduled maintenance at client sites, performing oil changes, tire services, diagnostics and preventive maintenance along with potential advanced repairs.

The role offers 9:00 PM–7:00 AM hours with options for a 4-day or a 5-day work week, a sign-on bonus, and opportunities for career growth within Goodyear's growing fleet business.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience performing qualified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance and brake-related services.
• Must have DOT Brake Certification or be willing to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Must have a valid driver's license and meet DOT physical requirements, including being at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Servicing delivery vans and DOT vehicles for scheduled preventative maintenance at a client site.
• Perform line technician services such as oil changes and tire services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventive maintenance, and tire installation.
• Advanced repairs and state inspections.
• Training may occur in a customer retail environment prior to working on the client site.
