Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Cicero, NY is hiring for an on-site technician role focused on DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and brake services. You will service delivery vans and DOT vehicles at client sites, perform tire services, diagnostics, and advanced repairs, with initial training in a retail environment before client work.

Requirements include 2 years of DOT experience, DOT Brake Certification (or within 30 days), a valid driver's license, and the ability to meet DOT

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience performing qualified DOT inspections and brake services.
• DOT Brake Certification required or willing to obtain within 30 days.
• Must be 21+ years old with a valid driver's license and meet DOT physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Servicing delivery vans and DOT vehicles for scheduled preventative maintenance at a client site.
• Perform line technician services such as oil changes and tire services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, and tire installation.
• Advanced repairs and state inspections.
• Training for this role may take place in a customer retail environment prior to working on the client site.
