Job summary
The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Buffalo, NY is seeking an Automotive / Fleet Technician for the night shift to service delivery vans and DOT vehicles. You will perform oil changes, tire services, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance at client sites, including advanced repairs and state inspections.
Ideal candidates have DOT certification or are willing to obtain it within 30 days, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work nights.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience performing qualified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and brake-related services.
- Must have DOT Brake Certification, or be willing to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Must have a valid driver's license and meet DOT physical requirements, including being at least 21 years old.
Responsibilities
- Servicing delivery vans and DOT vehicles for scheduled preventative maintenance at a client site.
- Perform line technician services such as oil changes and tire services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, and tire installation.
- Advanced repairs and state inspections.
- Training for this role may take place in a customer retail environment prior to working on the client site.
